Meet Colby, the owner of Sit Means Sit Raleigh, a leader in dog training in North Carolina. With over 15 years of experience in law enforcement, Colby brings strong skills to dog training. He has been running his business in Raleigh for 14 years, helping countless dogs and their owners achieve better control and communication.

He has worked with County, State, and Federal agencies in many roles.
These include Deputy Coroner, Special Response Team member, and Unit Trainer for the US Air Force Security Forces. He also served as a Training Coordinator at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center. Colby has a degree from Georgia College & State University and a graduate degree from Colorado Tech University.

Colby is passionate about helping dogs and their owners communicate better. His team focuses on teaching control, even in challenging situations. In his 14 years in business, Colby has trained thousands of Raleigh area residents. His clients include veterinarians, former state governors, NBA players, TV personalities, and many local families. Colby’s work with anxious dogs has also earned him recognition, leading to an invitation to speak to hundreds of dog trainers in Las Vegas.

When he’s not working, Colby enjoys time with his wife Andrea and their three children: Colton, Emelia, and Ellie.
